Most shops close at five or six. The calls don't stop — a flat tire at seven, a dog that won't eat on a Sunday (how it triages for vet clinics), someone who wants Tuesday at ten. Voicemail loses them to the next place. After Hours answers instead, finds out what they need, and puts it on your phone before they've hung up. Run from Palm Beach County, Florida.
Try it before you pay
Two ways to hear it, neither of them a sales call.
If it isn't good, you'll know in a minute rather than a month.
Call the number
The live receptionist answers a real line. Push it: ask something it can't know, talk over it, ask in Spanish. Ask it for an appointment, interrupt it, change your mind halfway. It's what your customers reach at nine on a Sunday.
Talk to it right here
A demo tire-shop receptionist, in your browser, no sign-up. Ask whether it's open Sunday, then try to book a Tuesday morning and hear how it handles a time it can't confirm.
How a call goes
It answers. It works out what they need. It does one of three things.
That is the whole system. Every call ends in a message on your phone, a time on your calendar, or a text with the caller's name and number — never in nothing — and a caller who rings off without saying anything gets a text back asking when to call them.
Answers
Two rings. It says what it is, asks whether recording is okay, and asks how it can help — in the caller's language.
Works out what they need
Urgent or routine, a booking or a question, using your hours, your services and your own rules for what matters.
Does one of three things
Takes a message. Books a time your calendar has actually accepted. Texts you the name, number and request before they've hung up.
If they hang up without leaving a message, it texts them back and asks when to call.

What it does
Seven things, decided mid-call, with nobody watching.
This is the spec sheet. Every line is something it does on its own the moment a call comes in.
Answers every call after hours
Two rings, in a natural voice, and it opens by saying what it is: an AI, on a recorded line. Florida asks all parties, so it asks (what that means in Florida).
0:13Her voice[two rings] Odile: "Thanks for calling Demo Tire and Auto, this is the front desk. How can I help you today? I'm an AI assistant. This call's recorded — is that okay?"
Knows your shop, not a script
Your hours, your services, your address. It never quotes a price you didn't give it — if it doesn't have a number, it says so and takes theirs.
0:07Scripted · both voices AICaller: "How much is a new tire?" Odile: "I don't have prices, so I won't guess. The shop will ring you back with a real figure."
Follows your rules, in your words
Which jobs are urgent, what to say about pricing, who to put through, words never to use. Send a line and it changes the same day.
"Flat tires are always urgent — take the location first." "Never say we do diesel." "If they ask for Marco, say he's back Tuesday."
Takes the message properly
Name, number, what they need and how soon. Texted to your phone and kept in your console with the recording, so nothing is lost and nothing is guessed.
An emergency — water coming in, a flood, no heat, storm damage — goes in a set order. Anyone in danger is told to call 911. It gives the safety step you wrote down, as you wrote it, then takes the name, callback number and address and reads them back. Your text arrives marked URGENT, and the caller is given a callback time only once the message is saved.
Texts back the ones who hang up
A caller who rings off without saying anything is still a customer. Within half an hour they get a text naming your shop, asking for a good time and a number to call. A voicemail box cannot do this; it is why a hang-up stops being a dead end.
“Sorry we missed your call to Demo Tire and Auto. Reply with a good time and number and we’ll call you back.”
Never invents a time
If it can't confirm an appointment, it says so and takes a callback instead of promising something the shop didn't agree to. It books only into a calendar it can see: Google Calendar, Square Appointments, or the calendar that comes with it if you use neither.
0:12Scripted · both voices AICaller: "Hi, do you have anything Tuesday morning?" Odile: "I can't confirm a time from here, so I won't promise one. I'll take your details and the shop will call you back to book it. What's it for?"
Switches language when the caller does
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish, German and Russian — chosen from what the caller actually speaks, not from a menu they have to press.

What it is not allowed to do, and what we check every morning, is on the trust page.
The voice
Her voice, your tone.
Odile arrives warm and unhurried — she never rushes a caller, never interrupts, never reads a list nobody asked for.
Prefer brisk and businesslike for a busy counter, or a slower manner for older customers? Ask, and we retune her pace, wording and voice for your shop. Your hours, services and rules you change yourself in the console, and they go live the same day.
Her voice · one line, three settings
All three: Odile: "Thanks for calling Demo Tire and Auto, this is the front desk. How can I help you today? I'm an AI assistant. This call's recorded — is that okay?"
