Forward your calls in one dial.

Call forwarding codes for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, below, plus what conditional call forwarding means. Your shop keeps its number. You tell your carrier to send the calls you don't pick up to your receptionist's number, the one in your welcome email. Dial the code below from the shop's phone, wait for the confirmation tone or message, and you're done. Most owners choose "no answer" — one of the conditional settings, along with busy and unreachable — so they still pick up when they can.

Have an office phone system?

After Hours works in any country. Outside the US and Canada, your line uses a SIP address from your own phone system, with the same plans in US dollars. Use your phone system or VoIP provider, if it can send calls to a SIP address. Send calls to your line's SIP address instead; no new number, nothing to port. The carrier codes below forward to a phone number in the US or Canada.

The codes

Forwarding codes by carrier

AT&T
No answer, after about two rings: **61*+1[your receptionist number]**10# · Busy: **67*+1[number]# · Phone off or no signal: **62*+1[number]# · All calls: **21*+1[number]# · Cancel: ##61#, ##67#, ##62# or ##21#
Verizon
No answer or busy (it rings 3 to 6 times first; Verizon has no shorter setting): *71[number] · All calls: *72[number] · Cancel: *73
T-Mobile
No answer, after about two rings: **61*+1[number]**10# · Busy: **67*+1[number]# · Phone off or no signal: **62*+1[number]# · All calls: **21*+1[number]# · Cancel: ##61#, ##67#, ##62# or ##21#
Canada: Rogers, Telus, Bell
Rogers home phone: *92 + the 10-digit number, stay on the line 5 seconds; it forwards after 4 rings; *93 cancels (with Rogers voicemail on, ask Rogers to switch it). Telus home phone: *92 on, *94 sets 2 to 9 rings, *93 off; on newer Telus accounts, Telus sets the number for you. On a Rogers, Bell or Telus mobile, try the codes in the AT&T row; if they are refused, the carrier's support sets it. Bell home phone: ask Bell.
Visible, Mint Mobile, Google Fi
Mint Mobile: **61*1[number]# for no answer, ##61# to cancel. Visible's *71 forwards only while you're on another call, and Google Fi has no forwarding for unanswered calls: on either, take a new number from us instead.
Landline, VoIP or another carrier
Ask your provider to set "call forward no answer" to 2 rings, pointed at your receptionist's number. On a VoIP system it is usually under call handling or forwarding rules. If your office phone system can send calls to a SIP address, we can connect it over the internet instead. Or reply to your welcome email and we'll set it with you on a call.

Step by step for each carrier: Verizon · AT&T · T-Mobile.

Type the number with the area code and no spaces, for example **61*+15613752995**10#. The 10 is the ring time in seconds: without it the carrier waits about 20 seconds before forwarding. On an iPhone with Verizon, turn off Live Voicemail first (Settings, Apps, Phone, Live Voicemail): Verizon says it stops *71 forwarding from working.

VoIP and office phone systems

VoIP is a phone line that runs over the internet: if you answer in an app or on a desk phone plugged into your network, you're on VoIP. Each one hides "forward unanswered calls" in its own menu. The steps below come from each provider's own help pages, read 12 October 2026.

RingCentral
In the RingCentral app: Settings, Phone, Call handling, Edit, then Work hours (and After hours), Missed calls, Forward to external number.
Google Voice for Workspace
An admin sets it on a ring group: Admin console, the ring group, Configuration, Unanswered calls, Forward the caller, then the receptionist's number. It forwards after 30 seconds.
Google Voice (personal)
It can't forward only the calls you miss: linked numbers all ring at once. Take a new number from us instead.
Vonage Business
Admin Portal, Phone System, Extensions, edit the extension, Call Forwarding, Follow Me: your extension first, then the receptionist's number.
Nextiva
Voice portal, Users, the user, Actions, Voice Settings, Forwarding, Call forwarding (unanswered): the number and the rings. Admins only; it covers direct calls, not call groups.
Zoom Phone
Settings, Phone, Voicemail and forwarding, When a call goes unanswered, Forward to External Contacts. Add the receptionist as an external contact first; your admin may need to allow forwarding outside Zoom.
Quo (formerly OpenPhone)
In the number's call flow: a Ring users step, then Forward call to the receptionist's number, then Publish.
8x8
Admin Console, Users, the user, Call forwarding rules, When user does not answer, Forward directly to a custom number.
Microsoft Teams Phone
Settings, Calls, Call handling and forwarding, If unanswered: the receptionist's number and the ring time in seconds.
3CX
Web client, Settings, Call Forwarding, Unanswered calls, External number, with the seconds. Calls that come through a ring group or queue skip these personal rules.
Ooma Office
It can't send only unanswered calls to an outside number. Reply to your welcome email and we'll set it up another way.
AT&T or Verizon Fios landline
No answer: *92 + the number. Busy: *90 + the number. Cancel: *93 or *91.
Anything else
Grasshopper, Dialpad, GoTo, Spectrum, Comcast and the rest: ask for "forward on no answer" to the receptionist's number. If your office phone system can send calls to a SIP address, we can connect it over the internet instead.

Check it worked

Call your shop from another phone and let it ring. After a few rings the receptionist should answer with your shop's name. If it doesn't, call (561) 375-2995 or reply to your welcome email.

Questions people ask

What is conditional call forwarding?

Forwarding that applies only under a condition you pick — no answer, busy, or your phone off or unreachable — instead of sending every call away. The codes above set no-answer, busy and unreachable separately for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, so you keep ringing first and the receptionist only picks up what you don't.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number and tell your carrier to forward the calls you don't answer to your receptionist's number, the one in your welcome email.

What do I dial on AT&T or T-Mobile?

No answer: **61*+1[number]**10#. Busy: **67*+1[number]#. Phone off or no signal: **62*+1[number]#. All calls: **21*+1[number]#. Cancel with ##61#, ##67#, ##62# or ##21#.

What do I dial on Verizon?

*71[number] forwards the calls you don't answer or that come in while you're on the line. *72[number] forwards all calls. *73 cancels.

My iPhone still sends calls to voicemail. What do I check?

Turn off Live Voicemail (Settings, Apps, Phone, Live Voicemail): Verizon says it stops *71 forwarding from working. Then call the shop again from another phone. If calls still go to voicemail, ask your carrier to clear the no-answer forwarding to its voicemail, then dial the code again.

What is VoIP, and can I forward from it?

VoIP is a phone line that runs over the internet, such as RingCentral, Google Voice, Vonage or Zoom Phone. Most can forward unanswered calls to an outside number; the steps for each are on this page. Personal Google Voice and Ooma Office can't, so on those we give you a new number instead.

Do I need to build workflows or install an app?

No. We set up the receptionist for your business: its greeting, your hours and services, and who gets the text. You only forward the calls you can't answer.
