The deal, in plain words.
These terms cover the products Odile Labs sells and gives away at odilelabs.com. They were last updated on 5 September 2026. Using a product means you accept them.
What you are buying
After Hours answers your business phone when you cannot, takes messages, and books appointments on a calendar you connect. Odile Reviews drafts replies to your public Google reviews. Both are month-to-month subscriptions billed through Stripe, and both renew until you cancel.
Cancelling
Cancel whenever you like, from the Stripe link in your receipt or by emailing us. Service runs to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate a part-month, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.
What we promise, and what we do not
We aim to keep the phone answered around the clock, but this is software on top of Twilio, ElevenLabs, Cloudflare and Google, and any of them can have an outage. We do not promise uninterrupted service. We are not an answering service staffed by people, and the receptionist can misunderstand a caller. Check your messages.
Drafted review replies are drafts. Read one before it goes out under your business's name.
Nothing we publish is legal, tax, medical, or financial advice. Plate estimates calories from a photograph and is often wrong; do not use it to make a medical decision.
Your side
Use the products for a real business you are entitled to represent. Do not use them to make unsolicited calls, to impersonate anyone, or for anything unlawful. You are responsible for telling your callers that calls are answered and transcribed by software where the law where you operate requires it. Florida and several other states require consent to record; the receptionist announces itself, but the obligation is yours.
Your content
Your business details, call transcripts and messages stay yours. You give us permission to process them for the purpose of running the product, and nothing else. See the privacy page for what is kept and for how long.
Price changes
If a price changes, existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for as long as the subscription runs unbroken. Founder pricing, where offered, is honoured on the same basis.
Liability
If we get something wrong, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous three months. We are not liable for lost business, lost profit, or a missed call.
Ending it
We can suspend an account that is being used for the things listed under "Your side", or that has not paid. We will tell you why, and we will give you your messages.
Text messages
Programme. After Hours by Odile, operated by OdileUSA L.L.C., sends transactional text messages about calls to your business. Apart from a single activation message to the account holder when their receptionist goes live, there are two kinds and no others: to a business owner who gave us their mobile number, the name, number and request of each caller their receptionist answered; and to a person who called a customer's published line and hung up without leaving a message, one text noting the missed call and inviting a reply with a good time to call back. We never send marketing texts, and we do not engage in affiliate marketing or third-party lead generation.
How you opt in. Business owners tick a consent box on the sign-up form at odilelabs.com/signup that is not pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of purchase — leave it unticked and the account is created with texting off. Callers opt in by dialling a customer's line themselves; we never text a number that has not called us, and we never buy or upload lists.
Message frequency. Frequency follows your call volume — one message per call your receptionist answers, and one per missed call.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages themselves; your mobile carrier's rates are between you and them.
Stopping them. Reply STOP to any message to end them, or CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, OPTOUT or REVOKE. You will get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply START to turn them back on. Reply HELP for help, or write to hello@odilelabs.com.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your information. Mobile numbers and consent to receive texts are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, and are never sold. See the privacy policy.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida.
