A note-taker joins your Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams call as a visible participant, listens, and emails everyone who was invited a short recap: what was decided, who is doing what, and what is still open. You pay for the minutes it is on the call, and nothing else.

How it works

1. Paste the link

   Or connect your calendar and switch it on for the meetings you choose, one at a time.

2. It joins and is seen

   It appears in the participant list as Odile Notes. Nobody is recorded without the room being able to see it is there.

3. Everyone gets the notes

   When the call ends, the invitees get the recap by email. You keep the transcript.

• Minutes are counted while the note-taker is on the call, from the moment it joins until it leaves. Waiting to be let in counts, because it costs us too.
• Packs do not expire for 12 months, and there is nothing to cancel.
• If a meeting fails on our side, or the note-taker is never let in and never records, you are not charged for it.
• Too little was said to write honest notes? You are told, and nobody is emailed a summary of nothing.

For developers

Your own code can send the note-taker and read the recap, spending the same minutes: POST https://api.odilelabs.com/v1/meetings. Make a key on the meeting notes page after you sign in.

What we do with what is said

• The transcript is kept for your account and read back only for you. The recording itself stays with the meeting-bot provider and is deleted on their schedule.
• The recap is written by a model that is given the transcript and nothing else. Anything it claims that the transcript does not support is dropped before the email is sent.
• Links and email addresses are stripped out of the generated text, because that email goes to everyone who was invited.
• Recording laws differ by state and country. Telling the room the note-taker is there is your responsibility, and the note-taker is visible so you can.
