Is your phone answered after you close?

Give us your business's published number. This evening, between six and nine in the time zone you pick, we ring it once. We say nothing to a voicemail and record no audio. If a person answers, the call says who we are and hangs up politely. Tomorrow you have one email that says what answered: a person, voicemail, or nothing at all.

What happens, exactly

1. Between 18:00 and 21:00 in the time zone you picked, our system dials your number once and lets it ring for up to thirty seconds. We first check that the number is a business's published line; a number we cannot match to a business is not dialled.
2. If voicemail picks up, we hang up when its greeting ends and say nothing. If a person picks up, a short automated voice says it is an AI from Odile Labs checking whether the line is answered, apologises, and ends the call.
3. You get one email with the plain finding. If the line was covered, that is the whole email. If it went to voicemail or rang out, the email also says what After Hours costs, once, and how to hear no more from us.

One check per number per thirty days, a few per day for the whole service. We record no audio; the call record and your request are deleted after 90 days. This is not a sales call and there is no follow-up unless you reply. Privacy · What After Hours is.
