T-Mobile call forwarding, step by step.
T-Mobile publishes its own forwarding codes: **21*1 and the number for every call, **61*1 for only the calls you don't answer, and ##21# to turn forwarding off. Below: each code, the steps, and how a business sends the calls it misses to a receptionist.

**21*1[number]#- Only the calls you don't answer
**61*1[number]#; to set the wait, add the seconds:**61*1[number]**10#(5, 10, 15, up to 30)- When you're on another call
**67*1[number]#- When your phone is off or has no signal
**62*1[number]#- Turn forwarding off
##21#,##61#,##67#or##62#;##004#resets all forwarding
Type the 10-digit number right after the 1, no spaces, for example **61*15555550123**10# for a 10-second wait.
How to turn it on
- Open the Phone app and dial the code with the number, for example **21*15555550123# for all calls.
- Press Call. The phone shows a message that forwarding is on.
- Call your number from another phone to check it rings through.
To stop, dial ##21# for all calls, or ##004# to reset every kind of forwarding.
What to know before you forward
- The codes work on any phone on T-Mobile, iPhone or Android, because the network handles them.
- Forwarding all calls with **21*1 means your phone stops ringing. To keep picking up yourself, use **61*1, which forwards only the calls you don't answer.
- You choose the wait before an unanswered call forwards: 5, 10, 15 and up to 30 seconds.
