Odile After Hours · for HVAC
The no-AC call doesn't wait for business hours.
After hours, in the summer peak, or from a caller who only speaks Spanish — it answers in two rings, on the number you already have, and texts you the job.
$199 a month, free until it books your first job · or $29 for one van, first 14 days free
What happens on the call
Picks up on the second ring
On the number you already have. Nothing to replace, nothing to port.
Says it's an AI and asks to record
Before anything else, on every call. Florida is an all-party consent state, so it asks.
Switches to the caller's language
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish, German or Russian — seven in all — and follows a caller who switches mid-call.
Takes the name, number, address and what's wrong
No cooling, no heat, a leak, a smell of gas, or a routine tune-up. Not a menu and not a form read out loud.
Marks it URGENT and follows your safety step
No-heat, no-AC, a leak and a gas smell are marked URGENT. Anyone in danger is told to call 911 first; then it gives the safety step you wrote for that call, as you wrote it.
Texts you before you're back at the truck
The whole message on your phone, as the call ends.
Books the job
A tune-up or a service call, into Google Calendar, Square Appointments, or the built-in calendar that comes with it if you use neither.
Hear it answer an HVAC call.
Receptionist: Thanks for calling Demo Heating and Cooling, Dani speaking — I'm an AI assistant. This call's recorded — is that okay?
Rather dial it? (561) 375-2995 reaches Odile Labs, and we will put one on your own line.
A Spanish-language HVAC call, dramatized
An 11 PM no-AC call where the caller only speaks Spanish, and the third company called is the one that answers. Fictional business; the scenes and voices are AI-generated.
What it costs
Up to 40 answered calls a month, first 14 days free. For a sole tech who mostly answers their own phone and wants the rest caught.

- Every call's recording and transcript in your console

Have it set up for mePrices are what your card is charged. The $199 plan has no founder code and no discount to ask for. Ask for the $299 back any time in the first thirty days and you get all of it, and the monthly never starts.
A no-AC call at 2 a.m.
No cooling, no heat, a leak, or a smell of gas: it handles those in a set order. Anyone in danger is told to call 911 first. Then it gives the safety step you wrote down, as you wrote it — for a gas smell, many HVAC owners write leave the house and call the gas company — and takes the name, callback number and address, reading them back. Your text arrives marked URGENT, and the caller hears a callback time only once the message is saved. What counts as urgent for your shop, and what to say about it, is yours to set, in plain sentences, in your settings.
What it will not do
- It does not diagnose anything. It takes the description and gives it to you.
- It does not quote. If somebody asks what a new condenser costs, it says you will call them back with that.
- It does not dispatch, and it will not promise a technician is on the way.
- It tells callers it is an assistant, first thing. It will not pretend to be you.
Everything above is the product as it is today, not a roadmap. If you call the number and it does something different from this page, that is a bug and we would like to hear about it.
Questions people ask
What happens if a customer calls at 2 AM with no AC?
It answers in two rings, says it's an AI and asks if the call can be recorded, then takes the name, callback number, address and what's wrong. No-heat, no-AC, a leak or a gas smell are marked URGENT. Anyone in danger is told to call 911 first; otherwise it gives the safety step you wrote for that call. Then it texts you the whole message before you're back at the truck.
Does it answer callers who only speak Spanish?
Yes. It follows the caller's language rather than asking them to pick one — English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Turkish, German or Russian, seven in all — and follows a caller who switches mid-call.
What does it cost?

Will it quote a price or dispatch a technician?
No. It never quotes a price you did not give it, and it does not dispatch. It takes the message and texts it to you.
Can it book a tune-up or a service call?
Yes, into Google Calendar, Square Appointments, or the built-in calendar that comes with it if you use neither.
