After Hours · Instant Callback
Your web leads get a call back in about a minute.
Someone fills in the form on your website and ticks the box agreeing to a call. Your receptionist calls them back in about a minute, says it is an AI, asks up to three questions you choose, books a time if you use the booking calendar, and sends you the answers.
Included in Odile After Hours ($199 a month, free until it books your first job) and Odile One ($299 a month, free until it books your first job). Not included in Solo. It stays off until you switch it on in your console.
What happens
The form
Paste our form into your website, or share your own form page at odilelabs.com/f/your-business. The consent box starts unticked. Someone who leaves it unticked is saved and sent to you, and never called.
The call, about a minute later
It opens with the same words every time: “Hi, this is the assistant for Your Business calling you back about the form you just submitted. I’m an AI assistant and this call is recorded; is now a good time?” If it is not a good time, it says it will try later and ends the call.
Your questions
Up to three, set in your console. Real estate starts with budget range, timeline, and buying or renting; home services with what is wrong, the area, and how urgent it is. Change them any time.
A time on your calendar
If you use the booking calendar, it offers two open times and books the one they pick. It only confirms a time the calendar accepted. Without a calendar it takes the message, as on any call.
The hand-off
You get the usual text with their answers, marked Hot lead when they booked or gave a budget or a timeline. The call, with its recording and transcript, is in your console, and the lead is in your customer list (and in HubSpot, if you connected it).
With callbacks on, it also calls back someone who rang your line and hung up before leaving a message.
The rules it never breaks
- It only calls people who contacted you first: your web form with the consent box ticked, or a call to your line.
- Only US and Canada numbers.
- Only between 8 am and 9 pm in the called person’s own time, read from their area code. An area code it does not know gets 9 am to 8 pm in your time zone. A form sent at night is called back when the window opens.
- At most one callback per number in 24 hours, plus one retry 10 minutes later if nobody answers.
- Never a number that asked to stop: anyone who says stop on a call is never called again, by any business on Odile.
- A daily limit for each business, so a fault can never call everyone in your name.
- No texts or WhatsApp to the person: the consent they give covers the call.
- Each answered callback counts as one of your plan’s answered calls. No extra charge.
The consent line
Written consent for an AI call, given by the person’s own tick. The box says, word for word, with your business name in it:
By ticking this box, I agree that Your Business may call me back at the phone number I entered above about my request, using an AI assistant and automated technology. My consent is not a condition of any purchase. I can say STOP on any call to stop the calls.
Calls are made only between 8 am and 9 pm your local time, and only to US and Canada numbers.
Every lead is stored with the time, these words and, when the browser sends it, the page it came from, so a question about a call can be answered with exactly what the person agreed to.
Hear it on your own phone
Build a free demo of your receptionist at odilelabs.com/try. Your demo page has a Call me now button: tick the box, give your number, and the demo receptionist calls you back in about a minute, inside calling hours.
Questions people ask
Does it call people who never asked?
No. It only calls someone who contacted you first: your website form with the consent box ticked, or a call to your line. A form sent without the box ticked is saved and sent to you, and never called.
When does it call?
Between 8 am and 9 pm in the person’s own time, read from their area code. Outside those hours the call waits until the window opens.
Which plans include it?
Odile After Hours ($199 a month) and Odile One ($299 a month). It is not part of Solo. Each answered callback counts as one of your plan’s answered calls, with no extra charge.
Does it text the person?
No. Their consent covers a call, so it does not text or message them. You get the text, with their answers.
Which countries does it call?
Only US and Canada numbers. After Hours itself answers calls in any country.
