# Odile Labs

## After Hours — an AI receptionist for trades

- What it is: an AI receptionist that answers a business phone line after hours.
- Who it is for: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, tire and auto, electrical, garage door, pool
  service and salon businesses.
- What it does on a call: answers, asks the caller's name, number and what they need, and
  texts it to the owner. It does not quote a price the owner has not given it.
- It is an AI and it says so. It tells the caller it is an AI assistant and asks whether
  the call may be recorded, on its first turn, before anything else.
- Hours: 24 hours a day, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Languages: English, Spanish, Turkish, German, French, Portuguese and Russian.
- Setup: the owner forwards their number after closing, or takes a new number. Nothing
  to install.
- Price: $199 a month, with the first 14 days free. A solo tier for a sole trader is
  $29 a month and covers up to 40 answered calls a month.

## Meeting notes — a note-taker for Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams

- What it is: a note-taker that joins a video call as a visible participant, listens, and
  emails everyone who was invited a short recap.
- What the recap contains: what was decided, who is doing what, and what is still open.
- It is visible. It appears in the participant list as "Odile Notes", so nobody is
  recorded without the room being able to see it is there.
- It does not invent. The recap is written from the transcript and nothing else, and
  anything the model claims that the transcript does not support is dropped before the
  email is sent.
- It will not summarise nothing. If too little was said to write honest notes, you are
  told, and nobody is emailed a summary of nothing.
- Price: you pay for the minutes it is on the call and nothing else. Packs are 200
  minutes for $10, 600 for $25, and 2,000 for $69; they do not expire for 12 months.
  The first 30 minutes are free, with no card and no subscription.
- Not charged: a meeting that fails on our side, or where the note-taker is never let in
  and never records.
- For developers: your own code can send the note-taker and read the recap on the same
  minutes, at POST https://api.odilelabs.com/v1/meetings.

## Automations — the work you do by hand, done for you

- What it is: we watch one repeated job being done once, write down what actually
  happens, build it so it runs itself, and then look after it.
- The four jobs we are asked for most: the same thing typed twice; the message nobody
  sent; the one spreadsheet everything depends on; the thing you only find out later.
- Where it runs: our infrastructure. Nothing to install and no new subscription to buy.
- Price: $2,500 per build, half to start and half once you have seen it work, then $399
  a month to look after it. $499 a month with After Hours answering the calls you miss.
- How it starts: a call, not a form. If we cannot make it worth your while we say so on
  that call.

## Websites — a page that gets the phone ringing

- What it is: we rebuild a small business's site as one page that loads in under two
  seconds on a phone, shows the hours, and rings the phone.
- The move: point your domain at us (one change at your registrar, five minutes on the
  phone), we rebuild, customers call.
- Price: $99 a month, rebuild included. No setup fee, no contract, cancel any time, and
  the domain stays yours.
- Free: put a web address in on the page and we run Google's own mobile speed test on it
  while you wait, and give you the score and the three slowest things, whether or not you
  rebuild with us.

  unrelated hobby tools that are deliberately kept out of search; they do not describe
  the business.

## Boundaries (what the products do not do)

- The receptionist is software and says so at the start of every call. It can misunderstand a
  caller; the owner reads the transcript and checks messages.
- It never quotes a price the owner did not give it. It does not take payments.
- Text messages to the owner go out where the line supports them; otherwise email.
- Call records, audio and transcripts are kept 90 days; messages up to twelve months; then
  deleted. Nothing is used to train models and nothing is sold.
- Meeting notes summarises only what the transcript supports and refuses to summarise nothing.
- Automations are quoted before anything is built.

## FAQ (verbatim from the site)

Q: Does After Hours pay for itself?
A: Solo is $29 a month. One job you would have lost to voicemail pays for it. At $199, one booked
job a month is the bar, and the missed-call calculator uses your own numbers to check.

Q: Is it a person?
A: No. It is software, and it says so at the start of every call.

Q: Do I need a new number?
A: Either way. Keep your number and forward it after hours, or take a local one.

Q: Who sets it up?
A: Tolga does, within one working day, from your hours, services and rules.

Q: Is there a contract?
A: No. Monthly, cancel any time; service runs to the end of the period you paid for. The $299
pilot is refundable in full for thirty days.
