Odile After Hours · included on every plan

A receptionist that answers in 32 languages.

Every Odile line answers in whichever of 32 languages the caller speaks, and follows them if they switch. It does not depend on your number's country: a lot of your customers grew up speaking something other than English, and they are answered in it.

The 32 languages

Your line opens in English, or in any one of these you choose, and switches when a caller speaks a whole sentence in another. A single word such as "gracias" does not switch it.

What a caller hears first

The exact first words, for a sample business called Palm Beach Plumbing. Each one says it is an AI and asks to record, in the caller's own language.

Questions

Does the caller have to pick a language?
No. There is no menu and no button to press. The receptionist answers in the language the caller speaks and follows them if they switch, including back again mid-call.
Does it depend on my number's country?
No. A Polish, Vietnamese or Arabic speaker calling a Florida number is answered in their language, the same as a caller from abroad. The language comes from the caller, not from the number.
What does the caller hear first?
A greeting in their language that says it is an AI and asks whether the call may be recorded, before anything else. Florida is an all-party consent state, and a consent question the caller cannot understand is not consent.
Does it cost more?
No. All 32 languages are included on every plan: After Hours at $199 a month, Solo at $29 a month and Odile One at $299 a month.
What do I get after a call in another language?
The same as any call: the caller's name, number and what they need, texted to you, with the recording and transcript in your console.
